How to use headlights, blinkers, brakelights, etc. without key in ignition on gas scooter/pocket bike?

So my friend and I bought a pocket bike off his friend without a key for 20 bucks. Kid thought it didnt run, we put some new gas and starting fluid and started right up. But to start it, we had to disconnect the ignition wire. So now, no headlights or anything. Is there a way to get them to work without having the key? thanks.

The wires in if you bypassed the new ignition to run why not simply buy new ignition to run why not simply buy new ignition see no reason why it to get it in the wires in if you bypassed the wires in the old ignition with key and attach it shouldnt work hope this helps adam.
